Isabela education official named OIC Dep-Ed Ilagan

ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, Jan. 25 (PIA) -- The Department of Education has named Dr. Denizon P. Domingo, assistant division superintendent of DepEd- Isabela, as acting city schools division superintendent of DepEd Ilagan City.
In a simple but fitting installation ceremonies held during Mondayâ€™s flag raising at Ilagan city hall, Mayor Jose Maire L. Diaz acknowledged the DepEd for immediately establishing a city division office after Ilagan was converted into a city last year.
Diaz assured that the city government will assist the newly-created schools division office in implementing the basic education program in the city.
Domingo said the creation of DepEd Ilagan City will speed up the delivery of education services in the city.
Officials from DepEd-Isabela witnessed the installation ceremonies at the city hall last Monday led by Isabela schools division superintendent Lily Domingo.
The Ilagan city schools division office is temporarily housed at the old division office at Centro Calamagui, Ilagan City. (PIA- Isabela)
